After the announcement of their new album and of the biggest k-pop girl band tour of history we tought we'd have to wait until July to have something to get crazy about but BLACKPINK didn't think this way. They are holding not 1, nor 2, but 4 online concerts on PUBG mobile this July!

A concert on a mobile game?

You read it well, as crazy as it might sound nothing is less serious. The girls will produce themselves in-game, they will benefit from the latest technologies in 3d images, avatar creations and HQ sound and we are all invited to join them!

The event is called BLACKPINK: THE VIRTUAL, it will be held during the two last weekends of July and the best part about it is that it will be free! 
All you need to do is to download the game before the 15th and the in-game extension pack to be released on the 16th. From the information we could gather, the persons registering after this date might need to pay an “entrance ticket” but the details have not been shared yet.

So do not hesitate and download the game, but make some room on your phone first because while the game is only 1.5GB it requires you to have at least 3GB of free space on your phone! And don't forget about the concert update that might need you to get even more.

This kind of event is being increasingly popular these years, who forgot Ariana Grande's Fortnite concert? Certainly not the millions of fans that listened to her! Let's hope for such a big success for BLACKPINK.

This event matches with the announcement of their second album and MV that will be out in August, so can we get a glimpse of what is coming? I certainly hope so! This event seems to be part of the big projects the girls have been preparing for the last 2 years, and two very busy years are coming for the group according to Jennie. This PUBG x BLACKPINK collaboration is the perfect way to keep us on the edge of our seat thinking about ambitious world tour promised for the end of 2022! Will you be there? I certainly will.
