Long-awaited album “PSY 9th, “farewell to ‘Gangnam Style

Merely two weeks after its release we can already say that "PSY 9th" is a definite success. Is title track "That That", in collaboration with Suga from BTS, aleady counts over 27 million streams on Spotify and 137 million views on Youtube.

Other titles feature collaborations with talented P Nation artists such as Jessi, Heize and Crush. The key of his undying success? His perfectionism.

PSY talks about it as his "mental illness", he must ask the feedback of all his collaborators and he will not stop remodelling the song until it reaches an unanimous validation! In his interview with Associated Press he also talks about the success of Gangnam Style and its effects on his personal and professional life:

"The hidden theme of this music video ("That That", Ed.) is "Farwell to Gangnam Style." [...] Personally and work wise, the success of "Gangnam Style" was a very big event [...] instead of being conscious of it I think of it as the biggest trophy on my shelf"

My favourite song of the album is Happier (feat. Crush), it is a moving rap gem that I did not expect to find in a PSY album, make sure to give it a try!
