Things to do in winter in Seoul

You will visit Seoul during the winter season but you don’t know where to go? I got you! 
Here are some places to absolutely visit for your next winter in Korea:

1. Street Food markets

What could be better than eating hot street food during the cold winter weather? You can find many markets around Seoul. Tteokbokki, Fish cakes, Hotteok or even pancakes, you will fins so many different types of food there! Give it a try to know which one you prefer.

  • Gwangjang market: 88 Changgyeonggung-ro, Jongno District, Seoul
  • Namdaemun market: 17-4 Namdaemunsijang-gil, Jung District, Seoul
  • Tongin traditional market:  ****18 Jahamun-ro 15-gil, Jongno District, Seoul

But you can also find many street food stands while walking around the city or inside the subway stations:

2. Attend to winter festivals

Just like the other seasons, Seoul is always full of festivals to have fun.

3. Indoor activities

4. Ski and snowboard

Ski and snowboard are famous in Korea in Winter.
But it is not exactly in Seoul, you have to move outside of the city to do it.

  • Hongcheon - Vivaldi Park Ski World
